About...
... the Site
I'm sure a lot of people will have moral problems with this site's existence, and I can understand why. As such, I thought I'd give my reasons for doing this.
- I hold a moral issue with hiding crucial lore behind a subscription paywall. If it was a one-time payment, or stuff that didn't matter to the overall story, this website would not have been made. However, the Patreon content contains information which is very important for understanding Alien Stage, such as the relationships between the humans and their guardians. It's like a "free to start" game that sucks you in, then, if you want to get any further, you have to pay microtransactions.
- Alien Stage is not an indie project. Alien Stage is led by VIVINOS and QMENG, but is produced by STUDIO LICO, which is a company.
- The state of the economy, as-of my time making this (late 2024), is so bad that many of us do not have $5 a month to spare.
- The state of the Alien Stage fandom, again, mimics that of a "pay to win" video game. Exclusive Patreon content and lore is mentioned all the time in fandom conversation, due to it being crucial information. But, because people want to 'respect VIVINOS', when they're asked about specifics, they'll just tell the person asking to just go pay money. Those unable to pay are, thus, excluded.
- Lastly: people already leak VIVINOS' Patreon all the time anyway. It's just in exclusive Discord servers and DMs. People don't want to be known as the guy who leaked the stuff from VIVINOS' Patreon, so, even though they want to spread the information, they keep it hush-hush.
- The usual service that is used for saving Patreon content has had its importer broken for months now.
If even one of these factors was not present, I would not have made this site. But they are, so I did. If you still find this site being made morally objectionable, that's fine. Just don't spread it around, so that fewer people will know of its existence, and you'll be doing all you can to hinder me.
This website was designed to be very simple, so readers can focus on the content. It is also mobile-responsive. The site was made October 29, 2024.
... the Webmaster
I'm not going to put a ton of facts about myself, for obvious reasons. The Alien Stage fandom has quite a big harassment problem, just like any fandom mostly conducted on Twitter. Here's what limited information I'm willing to give:
I conduct this project under the pseudonym Anonymous S. Refer to me using only doll/dolls (no they/them). I'm a genderqueer sapphic. I'm the #1 autistic Sua and Ivan truther.
